Azores are Portuguese, as far as I know :)

If you want to add an entirely new country to the list, this can be done using phpMyAdmin only — wa_country database table.

If adding a region within an existing country works for you, then this can be added much more easy: Shop app > Settings > Countries & Regions.

The list is defined in wa-plugins/shipping/worldwide/lib/worldwideShipping.class.php

    See this method: protected function getEuropeanCountries() { }

Please be aware that changes you perform to the base PHP code will be reset when your install updates.

It's in the PHP code, not in the database.

I suggest you to define additional rate for Andorra (in addition to "All European countries") — the plugin will use this rate first, and then the wildcard rate.

You may define shipping rates for the UK in addition to the "All European countries" option. The plugin will first use rates defined for the particular country, and then for wildcard options such as "All European countries" and "Rest of world".

One more hint: if you want to restrict shipping of a particular weight to a particular area, you may enter a negative number to the pricing table for this, e.g. -1.

The Worldwide plugin has been released: https://www.webasyst.com/store/plugin/shipping/worldwide/

Install it for free in your Webasyst backend.

We will be glad to hear your feedback about this plugin. Please post bug reports and new feature requests as new topics on this forum.

Sorry for delay with the release. We've been hard working on some new Webasyst apps lately, and thus worldwide shipping plugin has been delayed.

Will release this plugin within a week.

Thank you for your patience :)

Sorry for the confusion with shipping setup experience. Indeed, in the current Shop-Script version (6.0.3) the best way for worldwide shipping will be creating several independent Courier-based shipping types for different regions. Courier plugin is great for local shipping setup, but not for worldwide.

I fully agree that this is not user friendly. And that's why we are working on making a new plugin for worldwide shipping calculation. It will allow you to setup shipping rates by countries depending on package weight. Here is a snapshot on the plugin configuration UI:

The ETA is late July or early August. We are now busy working on a bug update that will introduce new dashboard and widgets, and worldwide shipping plugin will be delivered right after.

It depends on how shopping cart functionality will be implemented.

Do you mean Shop-Script's shopping cart? Current version of Shop-Script does not offer APIs for working with cart content. I'm not sure if we will be adding APIs for working with shopping cart, because it will have some limitations which will make them not really useable (i.e. you will be able to access cart data for registered users only, and not for unauthorized website visitors).
Anyway, I +1'd your suggestion to add shopping cart API methods in future Shop-Script updates.

In one of other questions you asked (https://www.webasyst.com/help/747/best-practice---marking-an-order-as-shipped/) I suggested you to create a bridge plugin. I believe you could use the same approach for working with cart model too.

The best way to communicate with Shop-Script from the outside is using API: http://www.webasyst.com/developers/docs/api/explorer/shop/

However, the current version of the Shop-Script (5.2.0) does not offer APIs for working with orders data and workflow (all methods of the current version are related mostly to managing product data), and thus it is not possible to manage order data via API.

What you can do is create a plugin for Shop-Script which will implement bridge functionality between the outside and Shop-Script. In this plugin you will be able to use Shop-Script order model, and you will need to decide for yourself how you would like to establish and implement communication between from your software to this plugin.

We will be adding new APIs with next Shop-Script updates, and methods for working with order data will be added as well. Though for now there is information on the ETA for this.

The update should work via the Installer.
If it doesn't, please try to clear your Installer cache at Installer > Settings screen.
In case updates do not appear after the cache is cleared, please let us know.

Is your framework installation available on the web? Can you please provide a URL?

You may also contact support directly at support@webasyst.com in case some additional debugging is required to be performed on your server (in case we need to see your particular case in details).

There are two commercial versions now available:

    1. WebAsyst Shop-Script: http://old.webasyst.net/shop/ – previous generation
    2. Shop-Script 5: http://www.shop-script.com – newest generation

You purchased the first one (WebAsyst Shop-Script), and you are absolutely licensed to use the software.

Shop-Script 5 is a new completely new product with newer user interface and backend engine. If you want to run on the newer generation, you need to purchase it separately. We offer upgrade to the newer platform at $249. See http://www.shop-script.com/pricing/ for details.

The all-new Helpdesk app is coming soon - in just one or two months!

Project management apps are in plans, but for now there is no ETA disclosed for those.

As for the support of the previous generation of WebAsyst apps (old.webasyst.net), we will continue to provide support and critical bug-fix updates even when older products become out of sale. We will announce when the support for the previous generation is over. I think it will be no less than in an year or so.
